Geopath’s 2026 Planning Dataset Rollout & Supporting Webinars
Warm greetings from the Geopath Team!
We hope this summer has been a productive one for you and your organization. We are pleased to share several important updates with our members.
The 2026 planning dataset will be released as a “preview” to our membership in the Insights Suite and API on September 30, 2026.
This preview period will allow all Geopath members the opportunity to explore the new dataset, become familiar with its structure and improvements, and begin integrating it into internal tools and workflows. Once membership has had sufficient time to review and implement the new data, the 2026 planning dataset will transition to “default” status in the Insights Suite and Geopath’s API in November.
To support members through this transition to the next dataset, Geopath has developed a comprehensive set of resources, including one-pagers and instructional videos, which will be made available in advance of the release. In addition, we will host a series of webinars in the coming months to provide members with an in-depth look at the enhancements and updates included in the 2026 dataset.

Date & Time: Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at 12 pm EST
The first session in our 2026 Annual Dataset Launch Series will provide all Geopath members with an opportunity to learn more and ask questions about the upcoming release, President search, and AMS pilot. This session will feature a discussion with Geopath’s Interim President, Rob Peterson, and Geopath Chairperson/Chief Client Officer and Partner at ODN, Ali Broback.
Following the Town Hall Webinar, Geopath will be hosting a handful of additional support webinars. Registration links for each session will be provided as we approach each date.

Preparing for the 2026 Dataset

In this session, the Geopath team will walk attendees through Geopath’s measurement process for all media classes and help users understand how these inputs contribute to the published metrics seen in the user interface. The session will also feature a general overview of the Insights Suite as we prepare for the 2026 dataset release.

In this webinar, Scott Fiaschetti and Brian Schopper will walk through the high-level updates and improvements found in the 2026 planning dataset.
A Guide to Understanding Impression Updates

Date & Time: Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026, at 1 pm EST
In this webinar, Scott Fiaschetti, Brian Schopper, and Kevin Romero will discuss some key factors that may affect inventory measures, the overall impact of those factors within the 2026 dataset, and example scenarios to show the effects of these factors at an inventory level.
Accessing the 2026 Planning Dataset

In this webinar, Scott Fiaschetti and Brian Schopper will provide a tutorial of the Geopath Insights Suite and guide users on how to use the 2026 dataset in our tools most effectively.
