Geopath has released an update to the Geopath v2.2 API that includes the following changes:

  • The Market Plan function (via inventory/plans endpoint) was enhanced to use all available spots in the market(s) of the selected inventory, not just those spots that have nonzero audience exposures to all target geographies
  • An issue was corrected where the /inventory/search/summary API endpoint would return slightly higher reach_net values than expected when the JSON property “target_geography_list” was populated with 2 or more audience segments (this issue did NOT occur when “target_geography” was used instead of “target_geography_list”)
  • An issue was corrected where a Market Plan using combined markets (i.e. combined target audience geographies in a single plan) did not allow users to add all available spots when using both multiple audience geographies and multiple inventory location geographies
  • An issue was corrected where a Market Plan using multiple ‘media type groups’ (i.e. user-specified subsets of inventory) would incorrectly declare that the goal cannot be met when only one of the media type groups cannot meet the goal
  • An issue was corrected where certain Market Plan aggregations using multiple ‘media type groups’ (i.e. user-specified subsets of inventory) displayed aggregate reach values that were lower than the largest of all contributing ‘media type groups’
  • An issue was corrected where certain Market Plans using multiple ‘media type groups’ (i.e. user-specified subsets of inventory) showed an incorrect aggregate reach estimate when users manually specify counts of spots for each media type group
  • An issue was corrected where certain Market Plans for place-based and scheduled fleet media were returning 0 or NULL values (resulting from performance limitations on some long-running queries)
