“Our Moment” is right around the corner! Next week, beginning on Monday 4/29, the 2024 OOH Media Conference will kick off in beautiful Carlsbad CA, part of the San Diego DMA.

At the Conference next week, Geopath will be hosting two training sessions:

In the first session on Monday, Scott Fiaschetti and I will be walking through the foundations of media measurement, using data to build plans, and how asking questions can be a powerful tool in the planning process.

The second session, on Wednesday, will take the form of a panel, hosted and moderated by Scott, who will be joined by ODN’s Ali Broback, Lamar’s Erin Bowling, and Adkom’s Chris Farnkopf. In this session, the panel will discuss the full cycle of the planning process, and how strategic use of measurement data can benefit buyers and sellers alike.

In anticipation of the upcoming conference in Carlsbad, let’s take a look at some OOH stats in the San Diego DMA, where Carlsbad is located.

Within the San Diego DMA, Geopath measures over 13,000 spots, with inventory coming from nearly 40 different Operators.

In a 1-week timeframe, there are 355 million Total Impressions, with about 90% of those Impressions coming from those who live within the DMA. On the inventory in this market:

  • 238 million impressions are generated against those 21+ who live within the DMA
  • 89 million impressions against those in the DMA who have paid to see live music in the last 12 months
  • 25 million impressions from craft beer drinks in the DMA
  • 13 million impressions are from those in the DMA with a child in college
