COVID Mobility Update (September 24th)
Average miles traveled daily represents 92% of the travel occurring prior to COVID-19 restrictions.
Today we are sharing an updated version of the Daily Mobility tracking report that we have been releasing weekly over the past five months, refreshed with data through the week of September 14th.
According to the data, the average miles traveled daily across the US has increased week over week, rising to 16.5. Additionally, distance traveled daily is now at 92% of the travel occurring the first week of March prior to COVID-19 restrictions.
In terms of weekend travel, average miles traveled increased week over week to 17.9 and 14.7 for Saturdays and Sundays, respectively.To view the full report on this data, please click here.
