For today’s Fast Fact Friday, we will continue our series analyzing the top OOH spenders in specific DMAs, to help our members prepare as markets reopen. The data is sourced from Kantar and covers OOH ad spend from January to March of 2020.
Recent Fast Fact Friday articles have looked at Boston, New York City, and Salt Lake City, highlighting the top OOH advertisers in these markets. However, for today’s write-up, let’s head to the “Mile-High City” and take a look at 17th largest DMA in the country, Denver, Colorado.
A quick look at the Top OOH spender list for Denver shows that the Financial sector is an avid buyer of outdoor. JP Morgan, Adyen, Personal Capital, and Firstbank hold the second, third, fourth, and tenth places on the list.
The Communications Industry is also well-represented, with T-Mobile, Zoom, and Comcast positioning themselves as fifth, eighth, and ninth on the OOH spender list, respectively.
Also, interesting to note, the Colorado state Lottery holds the top spot on the OOH spender list for Denver during this period. To be spending this much in the medium, they must be lucking out with OOH to reach their target audiences!
