COVID Mobility Update (October 22nd)
Average miles traveled daily represents 94% of the travel occurring prior to COVID-19 restrictions.
Today we are sharing an updated version of the Daily Mobility tracking report that we have been releasing weekly over the past six months, refreshed with data through the week of October 12th.
According to the data, the average miles traveled daily across the US has remained relatively stable week over week, now up 74% since the April low-point.
In terms of weekend travel week over week, average miles traveled on Saturday saw an increase of 0.3 miles, while Sunday remained flat, staying at the level of 15.2 miles traveled for the past 3 weeks.
