These are unprecedented times, and Geopath is prepared to support the OOH industry in whatever ways we can. One of the ways we can provide assistance is through our data and insights, pulled from our own tools, or through our other extensive resources.

Our past two Friday Fast Facts have focused on extending our gratitude toward two different groups of essential workers; healthcare professionals and grocery store employees. These two sets of workers may be doing different work, but they are both risking their health and safety to do their jobs and support the rest of us.

For today’s post, we want to focus on another group that deserves recognition, the truck drivers, transit drivers, postal workers, and warehouse employees who are still going to work, delivering the goods and necessities we all need around the country.

According to data from Esri, there are close to 4 million workers who are employed in transportation and warehousing around the country. These essential workers are keeping our local stores stocked up with the products we need, bringing our mail and deliveries to our homes, and transporting much-needed supplies to healthcare workers around the country.

They’re still going to workand for that sacrifice, we thank all those out there that have been working long hours and driving great distances, to support the rest of us during this time. We know the OOH industry feels the same way. It’s been inspiring to see the OOH industry come together during this time, running fantastic campaigns to show appreciation to all the essential workers out there.

So, a much deserved thank you to the essential workers out there supporting all of us, but remember, staying healthy is an even better way to thank them.
