For today’s Fast Fact, let’s take a look at some OOH statistics across the 77 counties of Oklahoma!

Did you know that Oklahoma has more man-made lakes than any other state in the US, with 200 non-natural lakes? Additionally, OK has over 11,000 miles of shoreline thanks to major tributaries like the Arkansas and Red Rivers.

Cimarron County at the end of Oklahoma’s panhandle is the only US county that touches 4 other states: Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Kansas. Interestingly, per the state’s Constitution, a county in the state can actually be dissolved; all taxable property in the state must be worth less than $2.5 million, then ¼ of county residents must sign a petition, and over half of voters must be in favor. It would then be combined with an adjacent county.

At the state level, Geopath audits about 14,000 spots, with inventory coming from 29 different operators! In the state, there is a total population of nearly 4 million.
