COVID Mobility Update (October 15th)
Average miles traveled daily represents 93% of the travel occurring prior to COVID-19 restrictions.
Today we are sharing an updated version of the Daily Mobility tracking report that we have been releasing weekly over the past six months, refreshed with data through the week of October 5th.
According to the data, the average miles traveled daily across the US has remained relatively stable week over week, now up 73% since the April low-point.
In terms of weekend travel week over week, average miles traveled on Saturday saw a decrease of 0.4 miles, while Sunday remained flat, staying at the level of 15.2 miles traveled.
