COVID Mobility Update (October 8th)
Average miles traveled daily represents 94% of the travel occurring prior to COVID-19 restrictions.
Today we are sharing an updated version of the Daily Mobility tracking report that we have been releasing weekly over the past six months, refreshed with data through the week of September 28th.
According to the data, the average miles traveled daily across the US has increased 0.5 miles week over week, now up 74% since the April low-point.
In terms of weekend travel week over week, average miles traveled on Saturday saw an increase of 0.8 miles, while Sunday saw a smaller increase, up 0.4 from the week of September 21st.
