For today’s Fast Fact, let’s zoom back the lens a bit and take a look at some interesting OOH statistics across Oregon’s 36 counties!

At the state level, Geopath audits over 18,000 spots, with inventory coming from 37 different operators! In the state, there is a total population of 4.3 million, presenting a large opportunity for audience exposure.

Here are a few great potential audience segments to be aware of in the state! Of those 4.3 million: nearly 27% have been to a sporting event in the last 12 months, and over 12% have been to see live music in the last year. Oregonians also seem to make great use of the natural beauty and amenities in their state; 16% have gone hiking/backpacking in the last year, 13% have gone fishing, and 13% have gone camping as well! To that end, nearly 1/3 of the state plans to go on a family vacation in the next 12 months.

Speaking of Oregon’s natural beauty, did you know that the deepest lake in the United States is here? Crater Lake (which is within Crater Lake National Park) is over 1900 feet in depth, and was formed over 7000 years ago by the eruption and collapse of a volcano!
