Election follows Geopath’s announcement to develop strategic roadmap for the future of its organization and the out-of-home industry. Industry leaders from 4A’s, ANA, EMC Outdoor, Project X/ADstruc, Rapport, Talon/The Buntin Group and Vistar Media to serve across various roles
New York, NY (October 05, 2021) – Geopath, a non-profit organization that provides the industry-standard audience metrics for out-of-home (OOH) advertising, today announced the appointment of new members to its Board of Directors, including members of the Executive Committee and Ex-Officio members.
Representing all facets of the industry, the new Board members join a robust group to lead Geopath’s development of a strategic roadmap for how the organization can support its members now, and in the future, to further OOH’s position as a highly integrated part of the media mix used by marketers and advertisers.
The election of new members of the Board of Directors follows Geopath’s selection of a globally recognized consultancy. The consultancy was chosen after a rigorous vetting process conducted over the past several months by Geopath and a 16-member taskforce to ensure that the roadmap project’s goals, vision and requirements are aligned with the long-term needs of the organization and the industry.
Joining the Executive Committee is existing Board member Chris Olsen, President US at Rapport and Betsy McLarney, CEO at EMC Outdoor, for the newly created role of At Large Independent Agency Member. Newly elected to the Board of Directors for a three-year term are John Laramie, CEO at Project X/ADstruc and Jon Carmack, COO at Talon/The Buntin Group, as well as Geopath’s first programmatic Board member, Michael Provenzano, CEO and Co-Founder at Vistar Media.
Bill Tucker, Group EVP Data Tech Measurement at ANA and Ashwini Karandikar, EVP Media, Technology, Data at the AAAA’s (4A’s) have also joined as Ex-Officio members of the Board.
